Cliftonville Primary School Tree week

A beautiful woodland near Reading

This week has been National tree week! Joe was invited in to our local primary school (Cliftonville Primary), where he spoke to the pupils in both year 5
and year 6 before speaking to the whole upper school in an assembly. The school did a great write-up on the visit on their website, the link to which can be found here.

The children had a really healthy interest in the work that we carry out. Joe talked to the children about what tree surgery is, why it is so important, and what it is that he loves about it. Seeing a video of our woodchipper in action was a great highlight for some of the pupils, whereas others were more keen to learn about how we could tell the age of a tree by counting the number of rings it had once it had been cut down.

At Top Branch Tree Services, we have a real passion for trees and take pride in spreading our enthusiasm and knowledge to others, whether it be at a school like this, or doing a quotation/giving advice to a client.

If you have any questions about trees, feel free to contact Joe on 07715895054. Alternatively click here to contact us via our website and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
